Små Helter terms of use

These terms explain what families can expect from the service and the responsibilities that come with a family account.

Last updated 5 September 2026

1. The agreement

Små Helter is provided by Cateno AS, Norwegian organisation no. 886 658 532, Spjelkavikvegen 132, 6010 Ålesund, Norway. By creating an account, the account holder confirms that they can enter into this agreement and accepts these terms and the privacy policy.

2. The service

Små Helter helps families organise chores, approvals, progress, rewards and activities. Features may be improved, changed or removed where needed for security, legal compliance or continued development. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way.

3. Parental responsibility and child profiles

An adult account holder creates the family and is responsible for child profiles, invitations, chores, rewards, photos and other information entered. Children should use the service with parental guidance. The parent must ensure that content is appropriate and that any necessary consent or other legal basis is in place.

4. Account and security

Information you provide must be accurate. Passwords, PINs, QR codes and device access must be protected and not shared outside the family. Contact support@smahelter.no if you suspect misuse. We may restrict access to protect users, data or the service.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the service for unlawful, harmful, threatening or abusive content; attempt to access another family or administrative surface; bypass security controls; upload malware; automate unreasonable traffic; or infringe another person’s rights. Photos may only be uploaded when the family has the right to use them.

6. Family content and rights

The family retains its rights in content it enters. You grant Cateno AS a limited right to process that content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service. Små Helter, its design, trademark and software belong to Cateno AS or its licensors and may not be copied or distributed except as permitted by law.

7. Availability and liability

We work to provide a stable and secure service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider failures and events beyond our control may affect the service. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer or data-protection rights. Otherwise, liability is limited to direct, foreseeable loss to the extent permitted by law.

8. Ending and deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. Parents can delete an account in the app or follow the external deletion guide. We may terminate or restrict an account for a material breach, security risk or legal requirement, normally after notice when the circumstances allow.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. We will try to resolve disagreements directly before either party uses a competent dispute-resolution body or court. Send questions to support@smahelter.no. See also the support page.
